More about what I can do

I am an actor and role player. I have lead and facilitated workshops and been engaged in a variety of role play settings for over twenty years.

My past and current work includes the Royal College of General Practitioners, Royal College of Surgeons, City – University of London and St George’s. I have previously delivered high level negotiation skills training for prison governors and other senior managers at Her Majesty’s Prison and Probation Service and filmed training videos for NHS.

A trained actor, I am comfortable with all types of improvisation, breaking bad news, assessment, development, empathetic skill and all levels of facilitation and event work. I am equally at home with exam and recruitment work where a rigidly standardised approach is essential to ensure a level playing field for candidates.

I trained in journalism and am able to deliver appropriately focussed quality feedback both written and verbal. I have also operated at a high level in the Civil Service with employee relations work engaging directly at ministerial and shop floor level including high stakes personal casework. I believe this allows me to bring a fully rounded life experience to all my work which is of particular value in adapting to diverse settings.
